Let’s get the deal out of the way first…
This morning, I pulled one out of my box and realized I’ve already smoked through half of it. So I immediately thought about re-upping. I found a great deal at Hiland’s Cigars for $78.98, and with the discount code SNOW, the price drops to $69.50 with free shipping!
I just bought another box for long-term aging.
The more I smoke these, the more I like them.
And with a couple of months of age, this stick is now smoking stupendously. In my original review, I likened the cigar to the great guitarist and inventor Les Paul: refined, composed, and restrained. It didn’t have anything to prove. That metaphor hasn’t changed with more time in the humidor.
But with the tobaccos more settled together, the profile has taken on a nuttier character, with bright citrus and cedar showing more prominently. It’s delicious. The whole cigar feels much more integrated than when I first reviewed it.
Which is why I bumped its score to 94.
For me, that’s automatic box-worthiness. This stick is so enjoyable and so inexpensive that keeping a box around is a no-brainer. Plus, with how well it’s smoking now, my new box should be ready to rock by the time I finish the current one.
At $69.50 shipped, I don’t think I’ll regret having too many of them.
I know I don’t normally post deals, but this one was too good not to share.
