PerfecDraw: Yeah, It Really Is the Best Tool

I’ve been smoking cigars for a long time and the way I’ve dealt with plugged sticks has been creative to say the least. Most of the time, I’d use a shish kabob stick to push through the plug, or I’d use a tang I’d break off a plastic fork to create a larger opening near the head.

Both methods worked fairly well, especially the shish kabob stick, so I never thought too much about it when I got more into the hobby back in 2022. But when I started going on cigar forums, fellow smokers often talked about the PerfecDraw to fix plugged cigars.

With the success I had with my original methods, I didn’t take the discussions seriously. But when I got my PerfecPunch this past Christmas, I decided to give myself an early birthday present (it just passed, btw), and I got the PerfecDraw and PerfecRepair glue.

And after using the PerfecDraw the first time, I realized just how much I was missing! Using a stick or tang only created a tunnel in the cigar. The PerfecDraw removes material. Last week, I was smoking a great Tatuaje 20th Anniversary and it got plugged by the second third. So, I worked my PerfecDraw into it and removed a big chunk of leaf! That it didn’t crack the wrapper was amazing to me.

Yeah, I dig this tool!
