It’s nice to unwind with a cigar during a round of golf as well. But let’s focus on post-round, shall we? Fuck! It was tough round at Half Moon Bay today. Instead of shooting in the 70s, I ended up shooting close to 90. The saving grace of the round was my driver that I was pounding at a 268-yard average; not to mention the Oliva Serie O Churchill that I sparked up on the back-9.

But right now, it’s almost time for bed. I’ve got a glass of Wild Turkey and bitters on the rocks and I’m smoking an incredible Oliva Serie G Maduro Churchill. OMFG! It just seems that whatever Oliva makes, I just love!

This Serie O Maduro is no exception. I fucking love it! Though it’s classified as medium, the maduro wrapper adds a dark broodiness to the smoke that mixes well with the high ABV bourbon. I’ve gone to my mellow place where I really don’t give a shit about anything; even being in the dog house like I am right now because I didn’t let my wife know that I’d be having dinner with my playing partner (she cooked and got pissed I wasn’t home to eat it). So… dog house? Fuck it. I’m enjoying a smoke and a bourbon and I’m feeling fucking great!

Shit! I just thought about my bad score. But then even that’s completely overshadowed by the fact that I hit a legit 280-yard drive to open up the round! Mind you, that may not seem like a lot of yardage for you young-uns. But I’m sixty-fucking-one-years-old! I shouldn’t be hitting my drives this far! But I am.

I tell you what! This effect of this Serie G is really kicking in. It’s nowhere near that AJ Fallen Angel, but it’s getting me really, really mellow. I can’t get enough of it! Looks like I’m going to have to get a bunch of these as well. Mm-mm-mm!
