The “Ultimate” Christmas Smokes

In anticipation of Christmas, I bought two of my all-time favorite cigars, a Padron 1964 Anniversary and a Tatuaje 7th Habano. The Padron ’64 is and always will be at the very top of my list. And though I have had several more expensive cigars, to me at least, that ’64 has a taste that has always hit the spot for me. I won’t go into the flavor profile, simply because this cigar has been reviewed many many times.

But there is something in that blend that is simply magical. It’s like drinking a fine wine. One taste and I’m transported to a place of dreams. It’s like God saying this is the archetype. That’s my experience every time I smoke a Padron ’64.

On the other hand, much more accessible (as in price) is the 7th Habano. It’s half the price of a ’64, but it has a similar effect on me. I smoke one of those and I go to my happy place!

So it was only fitting to get these for Christmas. They were perfect for our celebrations this season.
