Relegated to the Garage on This Cold and Dreary Day. But I’m Enjoying the Comforting Effects of a Great Smoke.

I’ve been smoking the Oliva Serie O for  years now, and I always have a bunch of them on hand to give to friends and at those times where I can’t decide on what to smoke (which actually happens more than I care to admit). This was one of those days.

It’s cold and rainy, too wet to sit in my backyard seating area even though it’s covered. So I set up a camp chair in my garage. It’s actually quite nice out here because the garage keeps me out of the wind. And it has made his smoke quite enjoyable.

There is something about this cigar in a torpedo size. I originally got these on a special a long time ago. Up to that point I have been smoking the robusto size of the O. But I have found that I prefer the torpedo vitola. There is something about how the curvature at the head helps to intensify the smoke.

But irrespective of the size of the cigar, the flavor profile is akin to putting on an old comfortable sweater. There is a lot to be said about familiarity,
