I’ve been wanting to try these for a long time, but they only come out once a month and by the time I remember to get some they’ve always been out. But this month I was able to get a five pack and see what’s what with these.
If you don’t want to read any further these taste great. Yes they’re really rough in appearance but considering the high quality tobacco that goes into these sticks it doesn’t surprise me that they taste great.
The way they are made apparently is the rollers will take a couple of leaves, roll them up, then put whatever wrapper they’re working with and make a cigar. Typical factory smoke.
And since you never know what tobacco you’re going to get they’re different every single time. I’m not even sure if each smoke in the five pack is different from the others or the same. That’s pretty cool.
These are rough. Real rough. The draw is loose as expected. And considering there really isn’t that much tobacco in one of these, it smokes pretty fast. But that’s okay. All I know is that the tobacco that Martinez uses is all high quality so I know whatever I smoke from them is going to taste great!
Unlike other factory smokes, these aren’t cheap. That’s $7 a pop they’re not your typical cheap cigar. But I’ll be damned if they don’t taste great!
Truth be told I probably won’t buy these again even though I love the taste. I would much rather bite the bullet and get a box of 25 of my beloved New York City blend Coronas. Those actually come out cheaper than the factory smokes.
