I don’t normally smoke my cigars down to the nub. But a couple just taste SO good when they’re at the nub that I try to get as much of them as I can. Off the top of my head, that includes the Martinez Queens, Ave Maria Argentum, and what’s shown to the left, Alec Bradley “The Lineage.”

It’s a solid medium-body smoke that stays consistent through the first two thirds. But in that last third, it’s a real treat! It gets stronger, but not nearly as much as one might suspect. But it also transforms, and the smoke becomes thick and creamy with a Swiss Miss hot chocolate kind of flavor. It’s uncanny. It also doesn’t become too hot.

I’m sitting here right now in utter amazement at what I just smoked. It’s not a small wonder why I love this cigar. It never disappoints!
