Purchased: Robusto 5 X 50
Store: CigarsInternational.com
Bid: $35.00 for a 20-pack
Buy again? Absolutely!

In a word this is a really good cigar. I always say good is good no matter what the price. And I got these at a fantastic price. 35 bucks on Cigars International make me an offer page.

To be honest it wasn’t that big of a steal because these cigars sell regularly for just a few bucks more for a 20 pack. But hey! Any savings is good savings with this hobby.

As for the cigar itself it’s nothing to write home about. The flavor profile is earthy, nutty, and creamy with a little bit of spice from the Connecticut wrapper. The aroma is a little spicy and a little sweet. It’s a basic cigar that despite its simplicity it’s still very good and I enjoy it!

I’ve had about four of these since I bought the pack. The one I’m currently smoking has a solid construction. It seems densely packed. But I did have one other that was a little spongy. It smoked fine and tasted fine but it just didn’t have a solid build as the others.

That’s okay. The taste is still very appealing to me and despite the variability in the construction from cigar to Cigar, I don’t really have any complaints about this. It’s a great everyday cigar that I most probably will keep in stock.

As for the burn, it is mostly even. By the last third I’ve got a little bit of an angle to the burn line but it’s straight with absolutely no waves. Plus, I haven’t had to correct it once. And this goes for all the Cargos I have smoked thus far, even the one that seemed a little loose.

I almost forgot! This stick has nary a nicotine hit. As an after dinner or even morning coffee smoke, it is amazing.
