Holy shit! This is one strong mofo of a cigar! Got this one on a CI special, “AJ’s Clown Car Corona Sampler.” Of all the sticks in the pack, this one is the strongest!
Want something that will absolutely kick your ass? Look no further. I’ve had strong and full-bodied cigars before but this makes all those others seem like completely mellow smokes.
This one is so strong that after just a few puffs, I feel stoned! I’ve never had a cigar this strong before. I’m so used to mellow to medium bodied cigars that I was not prepared for the kick that is contained in this cigar.
And to be honest, I’m not sure I enjoy it. Even the Gurkha Widow Maker isn’t this strong! And that cigar is a Gordo! I made the mistake of lighting this one up this morning to drink with my coffee. I may be a half inch through the stick and I had to stop. This thing f***** me up!
As I write this I’m grilling some steaks. And the glass of red wine isn’t helping. I don’t want to get up!
I suppose that this would be just fine at the end of the day, right before I turn in for the night. A little glass of bourbon or cognac and a few puffs of the cigar would be just fine.
But chances are I will probably never buy this stick again. The taste is fine, but I have to be honest: it’s not that inspiring to me. Give me a nice Oliva Serie O or CAO America. I will smoke those all day.
